My main expertise are within: Acoustic Guitar and Electric Guitar (rhythm, lead, and fingerstyle), composition, music theory, and songwriting. I also have intermediate knowledge of vocal technique and drumming, which I can teach alongside my main expertise. I specialise in the genres of Rock, Blues, Jazz, Pop/Contemporary, and Folk, but have plenty of knowledge irrespective of genre if, for example, you wish to improve your physical technique/music theory knowledge on the instrument.

Whilst there are plenty of guitar teachers out there, few of them have the practical educational experience, theory knowledge, and passion which I gained through my studies at university (Bachelor of Secondary Education/Bachelor of Arts), as well as my experience as a Learning Support Assistant in various primary schools. I implement this in my approach to designing lessons and teaching my students, tailoring each lesson to suit their individual ambitions, direction, and learning needs.

I always offer my first lesson for free and runs for 1 hour. This is mainly to gauge a student's musical ambitions, availability, and learning styles. I also want to ensure I am a good fit as a teacher dependent on these factors.

My current services are:

(I will make a recommendation for which lesson type/schedule would be ideal for a student, but it is their/their guardian's choice on which one to go with.)

Whilst I prefer for students to be taught within my home (as I have a studio set up there), arrangements can be made for me to travel to a student's location if they wish to be taught within their home.  As this option is may affect my availability and the cost of the lesson, this option will need to be discussed via email/in-person.

Payment is usually organised via e-mail invoice. Payments must be made, at minimum, before 10AM the day of. Ideally, payments are made the day before or earlier. Alternatively, we can organise payment via batches (example: paying for 4 lessons at a time.)

If a lesson needs to be cancelled, this should be organised, ideally, 24 hours ahead of time, but before 9AM the morning of as an absolute minimum. Unless there are special/medical circumstances, the lesson will still be charged as per usual if a lesson is cancelled after this time.
